“Who is the battery manufacturer and what is the group size?”
They are group size 8D, sold by Pacific Sun Systems in CA dba Specialized Battery. As far as the cell manufacturer, I dont know, they come over on a boat from China like a lot of the others.

With the large open area beneath the batteries the bus needs to be kept in temps above 32 or some solid gold game plan to limit charging current from the inverters and or alternator needs to be in place.
The battery manufacturer likely has those charging protocols for low ambient temps listed.

Nice presentation Daschae and congrats on your install.
For those of you contemplating doing a similar install there is some much needed and interesting clarification about low temperature charging of Li batteries in a discussion blogger Will Prowse had with Dr. Dennis Phares, co-founder and CEO of Battle Born batteries. The temperature at which the Li battery can be safely recharged is a function of battery cell chemistry, cell temperature and charge rate. Those factors are different for different Li battery producers. And, this interview indicates internal battery heating strategies will soon be built into the battery itself.

Some batteries already have that built in heat generation to avoid or prevent issues of charging at low temperatures.
