Liberty Coach has inked a deal to sell Emerald:

    Liberty

Could be a nice, lower cost option.

That it is, but it isn’t a Liberty. I saw it a couple weeks ago and didn’t love it. I wouldn’t say no, but truly prefer the outfitting and finish of my 10 year old Liberty.

We (myself, Sid, Bearnie) had the opportunity to ride and drive the Emerald while on display in Indio last season a brand new XL-3… 2/s …. drove very smooth and quiet.

The whole concept of Emerald is saving the new buyer $500 K on a new bus. Putting it another way the success of Royal a few years ago. Even today Royal resale is pretty strong, I believe.

If you can get by the fact of no air slide doors, pulling your window blinds up and down by hand, turning your lights off manually, pulling your own sewer hose dump handle, you can get a new bus and build your dream “Bus Barn” and stilll have money left over.

We all take a lot of pride in our conversions, but one thing we all have in common regardless of conversion is we all share a Prevost chassis.

Our conversions can be simple or complex, plain or ornate, loaded with features or fairly basic. Right now it is nice to see another product niche being filled by Emerald.
