    Jon,

What if, just this once, I would make a relatively small assumption and live in ignorant bliss? If I don’t get a Vantare it will have a minimal chance of haunting me! If I do get one, I may at least be familiar with the upstream components of the system. What’s the worst that could happen? I have to eat bees? 🙂

To the best of my knowledge every conversion has a leveling system. The ultimate is likely one in which you press a button and the coach automatically levels with no further input required. The basic Level Low as provided by Prevost requires the driver to raise or lower each corner of the coach as needed.

Even with the automatic feature on my coaches I almost always manually leveled the coach because it was easy and allowed me to keep the front as low as possible making entry into the coach easier. The automatic feature did not always set the front as low as possible.

But regardless of how a coach is equipped for leveling all the driver has to do is understand if it is going to go up or down without commands from the driver because that can create problems. I would not consider any one of the available leveling systems a deal breaker.
