    Hi Walt,

Found the adjustment for the shock after calling Isri USA. I haven’t road tested it yet. It was on the left front of my seat under the skirting.

It does figure they are all different… If they were all the same we would t have any fun. Hopefully it’ll work for you too!

97 Liberty, 6 way electric adjustments but no air adjustment buttons apart from lumbar – generally sits too high and is too bouncy. Also have the occasional leak when first sitting down, sometimes need to sit 2-3 times to cure the leak. What, if anything, can I do? I think it’s a 6500?

Chip, Under your front dust cover at the top of the bottom cushion is 2 small bolts. Remove these bolts, lift up and remove the seat bottom. You will find a plastic 1/2 disk with an adjustment screw that control the amount of air for height and soft or firm. This adjustment should be set firm enough not to bottom out. Hope this helps. Darrell, before I saw your post I worked on this a bit, found a couple screws on the side of the height valve that seem to limit travel, a fixed rod in the seat framework contacts them. I am not sure about the item you mention, could you possibly find a photo of this so I know what I’m looking for? As to the screws for the seat cushion, I’m dense enough not to have found these either, have been working with the skirt removed somewhat ably. Thanks.

For ISRI parts, find your local tour bus company and see what they have. I got a parts ISRI seat for a case of beer.

The local shop here replaces them if the driver complains. Just a seat replacement would do it but they don’t bother but rather change the complete seat.

    Chip,

Mine has 2 small screws right in front bottom of seat cushion that look like they just hold the trim in place or something. Remove those and lift the front of the cushion. You might have to remove the dust cover to find them. Mine is held in place by Velcro. ( been a couple of years since I removed mine )

Found the screws hiding behind the velcro for the skirt.

Photos of the valve and the screws I adjusted to limit travel as well as a broad overview shot. Am I missing another adjustment?

    Thanks

Hey, if you’ve got it, flaunt it… it doesn’t sit right with no air in it anyway.
