it was the relay it was burnt. Melted so I need to put in a 24 volt relay and wire it in sorry Jeff did not want to bother you , thanks for your help

This is just an observation……….some circuits in our coaches carry relatively heavy loads. If you have a question about any just look at the electrical panel and note the change in amperage as you turn some circuits on and off.
I’m thinking specifically of circuits such as the tivoli lighting or maybe a full coach lighting master switch, especially if the coach has not had the bulbs changed to LED. Those relatively heavy current draws may not exceed the rating of their relays, but over time as the contacts of a relay get burned, resistance increases and the result is usually a failed relay.
The solution is to replace the relay. On my previous coach the tivoli relay failed, and when it failed the second time I replaced it with a much heavier rated relay. It is a simple and obvious fix, but it will involve some minor change to the wiring because usually a heavier or bigger relay is not going to work where the smaller rated one is located.

That’s what I am going to do wire in a bigger relay not replace the old one .

Which relay was it? One of the little green ones?
If it was, leave it in place, but instead of it carrying the load of tivoli lights for example, use the green relay to switch a larger relay that will carry that load. That way the PLC switching the green relay carries the same amount of current.

It was one of the clear ones on the back wall with the wire that holds it in place number 87

I think I used one that had more of a rating. Problem is without the logs (from the previous coach) I suffer from CRS.

Peter, just a word of caution. Some relays are labelled for 12/24V use and only have one amp rating marking. It’s almost always the 12V rating. So, a 12/24V 30A relay would only support 15A at 24V.
