It is my understanding that if you have a red lens, then use white lamps. But if lens is clear or white and one wants a red light, then use a red lamp.

Actually if you have a red lense use red also. The LED are so bright that white will make the red lenses look orange. So whatever color you want use that color LED.

Thanks Greg for the info. I have not used replacement LEDs yet but turning the red lens orange makes sense to me.

Do you have any insight into replacing halogen head lamps with LED lamps? I have seen an add for same using only one LED. New cars with LED headlights have several lamps from what I have seen.

Where did you get the new headlights? Did you have to replace the lower front cap?

The front lights look like Excalibur retrofit kit. AL, can you please provide the cost for the Kit?

Yes, Custom by Excalibur with daytime run light wire harness, stainless steel bezel to match, paint coat color to match with 3 coats of clear.

Detail was excellent making new pieces with minor trim fitting on radius corners in KC.

Of course it would have been better to have done in Sanford FL. Doing a series of pictures with measurements allowed project to be done here in KC. Wiring change was easy with instructions, parts, relays sent to make that change. It was important to me that I keep day time run lights.
