Leaky TW-1 Control Valve
Search for, found, and fixed another small aux system leak today on the Bendix TW-1 control valve. I’ve never looked in this area before but I know the TW-1 and PP-1 parking brake valve are plumbed into the aux air system, so I had to check. I’m running out of places to look for aux system air leaks.
The TW-1 control valve is what lowers/raises the tag and disables its brakes when its raised.. Took it apart, cleaned it up, changed 1 small o-ring, put thread sealant on the larger square o-ring, put everything back together, and wha lah, no leaky. YEAH! I ordered a new one from amazon anyway.
