I had to do it on my Royale and it was a bitch. Royale installed an access cover in the front bumper bay and I could get to parts of it that way. Not sure about Liberty, I know some require floor removal. You may just want to cap off the lines in the steering bay and call it a day.

I have two Cruise-Airs behind the bumper.

If we leave the step cover retracted, it apparently doesn’t make any noise. Close it, noise. The co-pilot what’s to be able to close the cover without any noise.

Sounds like I have my work cut out!

You could try to put some hydraulic oil in the 1/4 air line that opens ram and cycle it a couple of times, the piston rubber ring may be dry. On my Royale I can see ram under step because it drops in front, Yours doesn’t, Does the step riser under slide come apart? Sense that I rebuilt ram, But I also Installed Norgren 3 port valve to ram so it gets activated when level low is in drive mode when parked or key off no air to step ram.

DICK. my marathon leaks. i put lucas power steering stop leak mixed with marval oil in the air line. and it helped some. but i put an inline valve to shut off the air pressure to the ram when not needed, has solved my problem. just what i did.

With door open extend floor slide. This allows access under the slide.

Dick’s floor slide may be like mine or not due to the age differences. I do know with the slide extended and the door open I can look beneath the slide, but all I can see is the rod extended from the air cylinder. On all my Liberty’s I have never seen the cylinder so I suspect access is going to be an issue.

I am not an advocate of using a band aid to fix a brain tumor but if my floor slide cylinder has an audible leak I likely would add a solenoid valve to block air flow to the cylinder after the floor is extended, probably using a time delay relay to enable air flow for the time needed to extend it. That is easier than it sounds because there is likely a need to allow air flow to retract the floor slide.

We just replaced ours plus two air cylinders that open and close front bumper. Featherlite for our coach used a 1 1/2 bore by 26 inch stroke, Bimba SR-1726-DP air cylinder the 1726 breaks down as “(17″ is inch and half bore, 26 stands for the stroke)D”-Stands for Dual action, “P”, stands for pivot

unfortunately Bimba told me delivery would be early to mid August. Soooo, more info, was told by our local air cylinder retailer, to contacr American Cylinder, but had to contact tgeir distributor locally. Did so, and their turn around from construction to delivery , was 5-7 business days. Three arrived last tuesdsy, installed them over weekend. Now, no air loss. Most of our “leaking” was while cylinders were retracted, which we couldnt see unless we disconnected bumper and step slide attach points. Then added soapy solution=bubble eruption
