Leak identification.
So searching for leaks. I have one in the cavity right in front of the drive tire. can’t make out what it is as it seems to be on the blue plastic part and not on the fittings. Any idea of what I’m looking at ?

Looks like a height control valve.

This valve sets the drive height for air bags, they are not expensive about $100 each.

Thanks guys. Anyone have an idea of part numbers – either haldex or Prevost’s ? I can probably go through Prevost’s to get confirmation. Will probably get the service guys to address while also replace brake chambers.
haven’t heard back from prevost but apparently it’s a 630085. Are there 3rd party valves one can use or is their a delay in this valve that you have to use the preview one ?

I used the part # 630085 also there are 1 check valve on each height control valve I replaced part # 530175 ED! What kind of leak detector are you using? and is any good? How’s your air bag condition?

I’m using the Bacharach truPoint ultra. It’s not cheap but it works well. I’ve also used the amprobe uld300 which is very good. It’s just been recently upgraded to the uld420. But they make leak detection so much easier. That hiss is unmistakeable for the probe to pick up.
that being said – it will take a lot closer inspection for slower leaks. It needs an actual ultrasound leak to detect. If it’s a tiny slow leak over days not sure how it does.
