Leak at front axle
my 1996 XLV has never had a leak, but today when I moved the coach from the garage I noticed a small wet spot on the concrete. I looked under the best I could and it was coming from the center of the front axle. It appeared to be power steering fluid. Has anyone had a leak there? If so was it a hose or fitting or something else? Guess I will take to service shop as I really don want to try to crawl under there to look. Any help is appreciated.

If it’s the ram on the left when looking towards the back from the front the coach does not need that ram you can take it off remove the hoses and cap it off at steering bay gear box , Prevost had a service post about that years ago and said they don’t need that ram there will be two hoses going to it from steering bay to steering box in steering bay they leak all the time it’s about 1700,00 to replace the ram and it will leak in no time

There are two Rams one is on drivers side no fluid to that one it needs that one but there is one that uses power steering fluid from the the front steering box on the passenger side it does not need that one , Prevost said that and it will not drive any different without it ,I know because I had one that leaked and took it off and it was great and I talk to Prevost about it there is a thread about it around dec 2013 or Jan or February 2014 I sent you the statement from Prevost at that time
