  • Las Vegas?

Posted by Kirby on March 10, 2016 at 8:55 pm

Does anyone have suggestions for the Las Vegas area? I see there seems to still be an RV park/campground on the strip (Circus Circus) but are there any others fairly close in? Or maybe not so close in? This is a possible destination for part of our summer travels.

Oasis, Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort, Sam’s town are alternatives.

Another vote for LVMR…ask for the PC discount…be mindful that summer temps can hit over 115!!

10-4 on the summer temps… as we move along and depending on the dates we get headed in that direction, the temps will likely steer us there or away from there. Thanks for the tips on camping.

It was open when we were there in November.

Al, yes, the diner at the LVMR is open.

We were there at the end of January and the diner seemed pretty busy. We usually try to eat there at least once but didn’t this time.

We have been there for the past two Thanksgiving’s and we just love it. We stay for about 5 days. Super nice facility, gated, close to everything, and we love the diner!
