Those are great engines. To help answer your question, some questions. How many hours does it have and do you know if it’s direct injected or indirect injected? It’s hard to explain how to tell the difference. Take a picture of the injector / intake area and I can tell which one you have. The directed injected engines are the newer models and they start easier in cold weather and are more fuel efficient. 31kw is a lot for a 2203, is it turboed?

I found that the turbo oil return was clamped wrong on mine and caused a leak,I would check that area first before I rebuilt.
