Kohler 20KW failure
Gen shut itself down. Checked overheat and oil pressure ok. Found 10 amp circuit breaker in controller box melted as well as 8 amp fuse and wire going to voltage regulator burned. Gen now runs but will not trip transfer switch in bus. I’m assuming output voltage is low. Looking for ideas or recommendations for service in AZ or SoCal area.

you can try Smith Powerhouse in Bellflower , CA. They were recommended to me by the techs at Kohler some time back when I was having generator issues. I never used them because I was able to find my problem. Their # 562-633-1390 ask for Dave.
