  • Kitchen exhaust fan

As I have been looking at pictures of Prevosts, it came to me that I didn’t see any Maxx air vents. I figure there must be some method for moving air into a bus, especially if the windows don’t open. This would be very important in the galley when a meal is being prepared.

Is there a fan on the microwave that vents to the outside?

It may depend on the converter. I have two max fans, one above the shower at the rear of the coach and one in the half bath at the center of the coach.

I will turn those on to move air. My ‘vent-a-hood’ above the cook-top is also vented. I will never use the cook-top as I didn’t in the other coach (7.5 yrs.). So far, at 6 years tomorrow, I have not used the cook-top in this one either.

The convection microwave is excellent as is the convection bake feature. Honestly, I’m not sure if its vented. Any grilling is done outside.

    Safe travels,
    Mark

To the best of my knowledge the microwaves on my Liberty coaches were vented through the roof.

Most of the time they have a filter in them, not vented to outside

Something to add to my list of questions. Grilling is always done outside, but I use an instant pot a lot ,so need to vent steam out of coach. That is why I was asking. Guess it could be added, but I hate adding anything to a roof that is already sealed well. Thank you for your great responses.

Mine is not vented to the outside either and I don’t, and have never have, cooked inside except for the microwave/convection oven. Don’t like food odors floating around and sticking to things. Never have understood it. The exhaust fan in the bathroom will snatch a rug off the floor but no outside vented fan over the cook top. Go figure.
