  • KeeeRipes it’s Hot

Well, I’m making smoke heading north to MI and then upstate NY and
called it quits in Lexington at the Horse Park. Leave early, quit
early Jon says… Good power, sorry Karl, but they must not have
ever used a saw for the low hanging tree’s. Hello, not everyone has a
Pop-Up. 280 sites and big rig friendly, bring your own saw. Hope to go see some horses though.

The good news is the ole bus roof airs are just singing, but my
home is not so fortunate. Yesterday afternoon, we not only lost
one A/C, but a few hours later lost the 2nd A/C. The big one that
handles most of the house decided to quit running the condenser fan
and the small unit must be low on freon. So the answer was, fire up
the bus and leave early and turn the home A/C problem over to the
experts while we’re heading to cooler temps.

Jon, I blew the horn when I went through K’ville, did you hear it?

PS – I saw no less than 20 or 25 southbound rigs in TN and KY, bus
and plastic and they were all towing trucks with golf carts in the
back, what’s going on and where?

    Tom,

My guess is the busses/trucks/golf carts would be folks leaving the NASCAR race that was in KY last night.

Thanks Brian, that explains the Nascar fleet also heading south to Daytona.

Trukster……..I heard the horn. I hope the temps are cooler up in the Empire State. The last 2 days here were 105. Give me a heads up on your way back south. Santa left some presents.

10-4 on the presents and I’ll be thinking about everyone while fueling at the Seneca Indian Reservation (no tax) on the way home.

    PS – Fuel in N Georgia at Q-T exit 306 off I-75 was 3.33.

It finally got hot here too. That plus all the water still sitting around makes for mosquitos that sound like a jet when they are coming in to suck you dry. Man they are thick now…didn’t see hardly any before the floods.

I think we are going to have to get away for some weekends soon….no big trips yet as we used all the wife’s vacation for the cruise.. 🙁

Have the bus all fueled and serviced…now just to pick a destination..
