Many time I have seen questions asked in convoluted form and obfuscated with irrelevant information.

For best answers please try to ask one quetion at a time and separate questions according to topic. That is, make another post ar start another thread.

This is a general observation on my part from observing many Forums and not aimed at anyone on this Forum.

To reiterate; A series of simple straight forward questions will get a better response than a compound run on question.

As long as Jim brings up a good point along those lines let me add something that has been said often. When you post please make sure your signature line includes information about your year coach, model, and converter. It sometimes helps if you include info about the toad, but at least let the other members know about your coach.

This is not only important for those posing questions, but it is important for those answering so readers can judge if the answer is generic or converter or coach specific.

And please, please, please if you are not sure of your answer or are offering an opinion let us all know. A lot of people will never post, but they will accept answers here as the gospel and sometimes it is not possible to determine if an answer is fact or opinion.

Jim’s point is understood. At present, we have the ability to move a thread to a more appropriate topic, but we can’t move a post that gets off track. One day we will have that capability and then can just move a post and start a new topic.

Hey, it’s hard enough keeping Jon on the right page!

Good points and every so often I get questions on our toad. The GMC and the Buick Enclave are very simuliar and seem to be popular.

We need to pull one 50 amp. fuse before towing or risk dead battery in about 5 hours. I did some research and NAPA sells a longer style fuse which is very easy to pull now.

Another thing interesting to read is hometown of the poster.

Another thing that is not polite is when someone asks a question and then disappears until..???????

The guys that read these posts and want to offer help to those that need it, do so of their own free will and GOOD WILL, they are not at a job and not paid.

A response with help needs a prompt reply or the question needs be saved until the “asker” knows full well he/she will be online for a dialog stream to completion.

There may be some valid excuses, but,Just sayin.

These are my own thoughts and may not reflect those of our sponsor.
