Anyone know what model jun air works good with our coaches 2000 h3. Cc. Thanks Jim

I don’t know what HP compressor you need but using this as an example I see some things you need to consider.

The compressor should be oilless. It should be capable of the pressure you need. I picked that one because it is not only rated at 100 PSI, but is rated at that pressure for continuous duty. The duty cycle is important.
One of my coaches had the compressor in a box with some accoustic foam used to deaden the sound. That was a good thing. If you don’t have the sound deadening you should consider either a very quiet compressor or an enclosure.
I know guys do it, but I would never use a compressor with its own tank unless the system had a protection valve to prevent a loss of air from a failed tank from impacting the coach systems.
I don’t think there is any correct answer to your question because you have to decide what specs you seek in a compressor and that ranges from pressure, voltage, duty cycle, HP, noise level, and quality. There are really cheap compressors out there with good specs, but they may not have the durability you really need.

Thanks Jon I am amazed on how knowledgeable you are on these coaches. I was looking at the jun air because they are so quiet. I have a small panache compressor but its very noise. But maybe building a hush box would be a good answer. I read one of the threads about using jun air but I have no idea about which model. Thanks for your help I enjoy and learn a lot from your articles. Jim

Is the compressor mounted without any noise dampening hardware ?

yes it’s just setting in the bay with one stud holding it down

The compressor should have rubber
isolators and be securely bolted to the floor. All of the compressors
I have had have been held in place with 4 bolts. -
Not only should they be isolation mounted they should have a noise reduction air intake filter. You might be surprised how much these reduce the noise.

I have a JUNair it is an oil bath type looks like a alunium case works great you can not hear it run if you are holding it , i belive they were desighined for a dentist office mine is 110 volt,,, the entire unit is srounded in oil
