    Jeep Compass tow vehicle

    Does anyone have or know anyone who has a Jeep Compass they tow four down? The “Dinghy Guide” says they can be towed, but I’m seeing online where other people are saying you can’t tow them. Has anyone towed this vehicle without too many modifications?

    Hey Guys,

    I see in the Motorhome magazine towing guide for 2017 that the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Patriot can be towed four down with the manual transmission only.

    I have to say that I have never seen a Compass or Patriot towed behind a motorhome (not saying there are not any). I have certainly seen Jeep Wranglers (2 and 4 doors), Cherokee’s, Grand Cherokee’s, etc.

    Here is the info for a 2017. Basically it says it is towAble with a manual transmission.
