  • It works

Just a while back I made this guard for my entry switches, Because 2 reasons, 1st people always turn off the power or turn other lights on, 2nd reason is loading the bus with boxes or people bring stuff in the blue buttons get drug off or I broke the battery switch when I 1st bought bus loading the bus. So far it seems to work it is simple, switches are far enough in but still easy to push.

That’s different, my switches are beside the co-pilot seat. I wonder why they changed the position from there to the post where yours are mounted.

It’s hard to say why they do things.

my 97 has the switches on the face of the passenger seat wall.

You can hit the bumper open switch when turning the passenger chair.
We had the bad experience of having the bumper open during a rest stop,
driving off with the bumper down (unknown with no alarm light or sound ),
and hit a high curb entering a parking lot, bending the hinge and bumper.

So moving the switches to a saver place….replaced bumper.
