  • Is there a place for specific coach information?

I was just told that Newell has numbers for each coach. And you can go to that part of the fourm, give the coach number and get feedback from members who know the coach.

Do we have a place like that here? I may have answered my own question as I thoght through it. Newell builds all Newell’s while Prevost has multiple outfitters.

What you want is information that is closely guarded in some cases. Prevost at one time did not want to let MCI know their production rates so the VIN were not always sequential. I believe to confuse the issue H and X coaches have different 4 digit shell numbers. Then to sort through that and come up with number of conversion coaches versus entertainer versus seated is difficult without Prevost supplying that information.

Then there is the issue of converters. To the best of my knowledge they assign coach numbers. At one time I owned Liberty 346, and now I own 630. But I do not know if they are sequential or if they represent production numbers.

Try posting some basic information about the coach like … “Looking for information on 1999 XLV Liberty #407; anyone have any background information on it?”

We see prospective buyers post that kind of information from time to time.
