  • Is there a door deadbolt button?

Posted by Charlie on December 17, 2016 at 11:23 am

Okay, here’s a real newbie question: On my ’98 XL, is there a button to lock/unlock the door? I thought I had come across one in my inspection, but ever since I have owned the bus I haven’t been able to relocate it which makes me think I was imagining things. It would be nice to have a button that locks the door from the driver’s seat or otherwise doesn’t require stepping down the stairs and turning the deadbolt by hand…

The bay door switch doesn’t also lock the passenger door does it? (I always flip that with the door open…)

There will be a air lock dead bolt on the dash be carful with that if u lock it inside and over nite the air drains off the lock will open if u start coach and go outside and shut door the lock will get air as coach airs up and will lock door the key will not unlock that air bolt but you could shut coach off from outside and open aux air and drain it out to let u in or push button on dash if you can get the window open from drivers side window
