  • Is it ok to walk on top of the slideouts?

Posted by Ronald on January 7, 2014 at 8:32 am

    sometime ago,

I found a deal on an a-frame telescopic ladder. Unfortunately, it is just 12 feet tall. Really not enough to get safely up on the roof. Plus the a-frame would mean that I would lean 2 ladders, sort of, against the side of the bus.

somebody suggested to use the ladder to get on top of the slide. Would be a little easier but I don’t think the slides are meant to be walked on, or?

Your reply could help me saving $135 on a new 16.5 feet telescopic ladder.

    🙂

    Cheers,

    Ronald

waiting for service at Coachworks-Parliament, surrounded by many fine busses. Last night, around 8pm, someone blew his train horns here. Soon enough, 2 more train horns joined the rucus, including mine as well as one offsite in the distance. Would this be called a toot-out?

I would be reluctant to even offer an opinion. That might be worth a call to Prevost at the factory.

Ronald don;t know about the slide question but the horn blowing last night was all those parked on the campsites are Auburn fans and the score must have gotten close right at the end. We heard it also so I asked this morning.
