Inverter type
Posted by Marvin on January 14, 2020 at 4:48 pmThe 2003 xlii I am considering is equipped with 2 trace inverters. I am sure they are factory. Would they be full sine wave? Thanks

You didn’t tell us the converter, but probably 4024’s and they are sine wave.

Probably modified sine wave. Verify with the manufacturer. Pure sine wave becomes a requirement as various appliances are changed out, with late model refrigerators most likely requiring pure sine wave.

They are 4000 watt trace and are listed on the original build.

I don’t think so. The technical manual lists steps in the waveform so I doubt if it is pure sine wave.

My take has been the 4024SW that have been in all of my Marathons are True Sign Wave vs the 4024MSW that is Modified Sign Wave. Maybe Jeff will jump in here.

SW4024MC (Motor Coach) Inverters are true sinewave utility grade power. As it says in data brochure posted above.
