Final outcome is a blown fuse. Looks like the original 250 amp fuse was kept in place when the newer Xantrex was installed. As well as the old cables. So, based a lot of input from members of the forum, and several calls with Xantrex, Jeff McCreary, and PCS Inverter Service (Columbia, MO), I have changed to a 350 amp fuse, upgraded the cables to 4/0 as called for in with a Xantrex SW 3012, and installed a Blue Sea Systems 350 amp battery disconnect switch.
I received two fuse this afternoon. Installed everything. Turned on the disconnect switch. Wonderful music to my ears as all of the lights and the fan turned on, cycled and then started doing its job. It cycles beautifully between shore connected, shore disconnected, invert on, and generator start up and shut down.
