I saw someone else posted an introduction and I thought it may not be a bad idea for us to do the same even though I Have already made comments and started a few posts. First of all, from what I have seem so far, this is an invaluable resource for present an potential Prevost owners.

I am USAF retired, and we have lived in San Anotnio, Texas for the last 23 years. We have been motorhoming since 1991, when we bought our ’91 Pace Arrow. We put 112k miles on it before selling it in 2000, when we bought our present coach with 52k miles on the clock. By the time we get back from this trip we will have about 170k miles on it, and it is still going strong. Country Coach introduced us to the higher quality–the coach has cabinet work second to none, even though lattches could be better. We really wanted to stay with Country Coach, and looked hard at 2007-2008 Magnas and Affinitys. Two things we did not like–the dark colors and the 4 slides–we really see no need for slides, but could tolerate one, or at most two. Looking at the cost of the Country Coaches, we looked at a 2000 H3 locally, and really liked what we saw for about the same cost as the CC coaches we had been considering. Our coach would last us the next 15 years, but there were several features we would like to have; tag axle, a sharper turn radius, no propane-residential refrigerator, hard surface floors in the salon, quiet ACs (sensitive to noise in our old age!), minimal powered awnings, double-glazed windows among them.

Since we have the coach and house paid off, we thought we’d spend any inheritance on ourselves and go for a newer coach, and the Prevost fits the bill. We really liked the ride in the coach we drove at Marathon last month, and now it’s just a matter of selling ours and finding the right Prevost.

Hope to join your ranks soon!
