Interior Lights
Before breaking something, what’s the secret to getting these lights apart? My Liberty had the mouse traps without the plastic clear lens, but these are differnet. LED time again.

On my Legendary, I have similar lights and you take the whole silver ring/lens off by giving the ring a slight twist and it just comes off.

I had to push mine and twist at the same time… they are a bitch !!

Tom, they are on real tight!! I had to use rubber grip plyer and turn to the left and they come off. If you break one I have a spare.. I guess now you figured out that I forced one the first time!! The guy that replaced mine will be here in a couple of hours and will take some pictures and either text them or email them to you. Rubber gloves work best, turn left and they should come off.

Grasp the outer brass edge and rotate a smidge, which is more than a mite but less than a dash! 🙂 It may help to apply apply an iota of upward pressure in the process.
Seriously, try to find a loose one to practice on.

They are a pain to get off… some come right off and others take a great deal of force… When I had mine switched out at Marathon tampa and had a bad batch of LEDs Marathon sent me a little tool that they made… its basically a wood circle same diameter as the ring with no slip stuff glued to it… helps apply even pressure and then you turn… I will try to post or email you a picture..

I used a hose clamp #48 and added a tape to the side of the fixture and titan the clamp and loosed the fixture did that in about a day there are 42 bulbs in your coach.

He says no can do, but he also said the Liberty was his last coach. Stay tuned. As soon as he gets the lights replaced with LEDs and spends some serious time and money fixing it, he will be on the prowl.

I looked at the tool I have in the bay and the clamp number is 40 and not 48. Sorry Hish
