Ebay link to the led bulb seller. Sorry I was unable to post the link I know that there is a button to push I did push it but it would not work. We may need a simpler way to do that by use copy/paste a link or anything, loght

This is such an easy process…..
After making your post, you want to add a link.
1. Type the name of the link such as Lights. Just highlight the word with your mouse.
2. When you highlight the word, the box with the chain link lights up, see next example.
Here the word Link is highlighted and the chain button is now bold.
Click on the bold chain button and you will see this box pop up.
Now copy in your link address, being carefull not to duplicate the words http://.
Click OK and now your link is active.

These are the bulbs I am going to try,,,,, looks like they are closer to the shape of the original halogen bulbs in our bus.
They are part number G4 SMD 3014

Robert, those don’t appear to have any downward directed LEDs. So, they will have to benefit from the reflectors in the fixtures. The good news is those look narrow enough that it may just work. The bad news is I’m pretty sure you will end up with very limited illumination directly under the fixtures.
Let us know how they work. It might be good to compile a list of suppliers of LEDs that we know work well in the horitonal and vertical mount fixtures and which work with a specific dimmer (not all dimmers work the same).
I think these are the ones I have G-4 Horizontal Mount These do have a 3 stage dimming capability in my CC. FWIW, the CC dimmers dim regular bulbs somewhere around 6 steps, so they are not the same. I’ve been using these well over a year and they have worked flawlessly.
Tom, thanks for the lesson on how to insert a link. Many of us would have never guessed that you MUST highlight text in the note to activate the “insert link” function.

These light are in fact brighter than the halogens they replace in my case. I will bring a sample to the Lazy Days Rally that you can try also the coach will be there for all to see. I still could not post a link even with high lighting any thing. Gil see if you can post a link. lights

The link in your previous post is working. I could not get Gil’s link to work. I think I may try those even though they ship from China since you received yours. Bob gave me one with warm light a couple of years ago and it is great. I ordered some bright white ones and if that is all the lighting we had we would be bumping into walls. They are very dim even though they have 24 light chips.

Edit: I have never ordered from a Chinese shipper before because so many others have had problems. I odered 100 of these just now and I will let you know how they work around the 1st of April. I think I have about 25 fixtures that take these type bulbs so I may have 50 extra too.

For a $1 ea. you change them monthly, the orther guys that are selling thses bulbs are importing from China. Way pay $20 ea. when you only have to pay $1 ea.

The ones you bought may be the same that I bought. I replaced half the bulbs in the living area and then turned them on at night. I couldn’t detect a difference in illumination or color.
You are right, for a buck a piece, you can’t go wrong if they work.
BTW, I was at TGO on Friday. What a great place.

You are correct about these bulbs they work just fine by me and if they die I just lost a buck and not $23 bucks. I think I have about 20 extras just for that problem if it does happened.

Long past since I got mine.. There was a shipper in Airzona with same price as China .2 days were here. My bad experience with outside USA was explained to me as so many shipments get pulled for customs. was my lucky month.. Several differant temperatures of led lights. The warm white is more like sunlight and the bright white is more like artificial light. good to experiment a little. I use differant ones under counter vs ceiling and reading areas. Wish I had kept records. Have a box full of extras. Local supplys are up ro 8 times the price. FWIW Bob
