Interesting paint schemes for a coach
If you’re contemplating painting your coach or buying a bespoke coach, take a close look at the color schemes on these Ruxton classic cars from the 1920s/1930s. I saw one in person a few years ago that was on loan to the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford WI from a Chicago area collection. It was very striking.

Dumb question.
Weren’t all cars of that vintage a single color?
Assume owner chose color scheme.

Chuck its my understanding that a single color was the case for lower-end, mass produced cars. The high end luxury cars were a different case. I think if those were ordered bespoke the buyer chose the color.
The Ruxton Company reached out to artchitect and set designer Joseph Urban for the paint schemes: “When Ruxton finally went on sale, some models sported Joseph Urban color schemes designed to lengthen the appearance of the car through broad bands of white intermixed with vivid colors such as blue, lavender, and navy blue.”
