Instead of solar
When I bought bus in 2017 it had old solar on it pretty ugly and did not work well, Last year I removed the 4 old panels and riveted holes and sealed, I’m going to re coat roof with Bus coat as soon as I can but now roof is clean and sealed. I really don’t want to drill more holes in roof and clutter it with solar panels and we dry camp once maybe twice a year. Rincon beach. But anyways I just bought a Honda EU2200 2,200 watt generator on E-Bay brand new never fired for $750 bucks, I bought it for working around house out in the back of property no longer string cords, But anyways I had this Brainy Idea about taking gen on dry camping trips. Not to run everything on bus but just to keep batteries charged. I can run that quiet little gen 8 hours a day if needed,It uses very little gas and it is So quiet. I have Genius 15amp charger that should do something? When we go to brother in laws house I run long cord to his house and set the inverter shore power to 10 or 15 Percent charge and that works great for keeping batteries charger and running refrigerator and watching some TV. This 15 amp charger should do the same??

Do you use a charger to just charge batteries? or plug into bus and use inverter to charge??
