Inspection Ck Off List when picking up coach
Posted by Pat & Jan on January 12, 2015 at 5:51 amWe will be picking up an 03 Liberty next week in Stuart, Florida. This is our first Prevost. We have gotten great advice from some but would like to know if there is a CHECK OFF list that can be found so we may educate ourselves before driving off the lot for the first time.

Pat…
If you are buying from Dave (I think you told me that) he will spend as much time as you want teaching you the ropes… some folks video these “walk throughs” for viewing later… as it’s way too much to absorb in a couple of days… just take your time and ask lots of questions… lots and lots of questions !!
Get the service records too… both Liberty and Prevost should have them or at least what is available.
The list that Peter has emailed you will cover everything I imagine.
Lots of Liberty and other people here happy to help you as your questions arise and they will.
Congratulations on your new to you coach and holler at us and let’s see if we can get together soon.. also check out the Rally section here on PC … lots of things going on… hope you can make the Oysterfest as that is always sooo much fun !!
Cheers, Diane

The best inspection check list is to have your training teach you what every knob, dial and switch does.
When you take delivery at Liberty (and all the converters I imagine) you will get training on your coach. That training will cover everything, and will be not be only a description of which knob or switch does what, but it will also be a demonstration of what it does. That is your best way to know and understand everything works.
The second phase of the training is to expect to live in the coach for a few days and during that time take advantage of the opportunity to operate everything yourselves so you know how it all works and that you understand it. Some items on our coaches may not be intuitive so spending time in it on site with access to the folks that build and service the coach is valuable to you.
Take the time to methodically do the training. It is important, especially things like the level low system, load management, operation of the ACs and Webasto, Crestron, etc.

Enjoy and safe travels!

Pat , Take plenty of your favrite beverage , lots of 1000 dollar bills (this is for you and Jan)
. Most important is a written contract to get signed to the representative who will take your late nite calls from the side of the road. last that persons favrite beverage.
LOL Yo Bud
