Inspecting a Parliament Coach
Posted by George on May 1, 2022 at 9:50 amI am going to inspect a Parliament 2001 H3 for a person that is in California. The coach is located 1 hour from me here in NC.
Are there anything peculiar to a Parliament to look for. Coach only has 44,000
miles.

That is really nice of you George to help out someone in the Community, do you have an agenda for the inspection? I think others here would be interested in what is done during a walk through.

My wife is going with me.
She will be verifying the appliances function. Microwave time to boil 8 ounces of water. Washer thru a full cycle and dryer full cycle.
She will be turning on every light and verifying any dimmers function, tv’s radio, tape, cd, and any other item she can find to insure they function.
I intend to check all fluid levels. Verify generator operation for carrying the full load I can generate on the bus. Dot brake check.
Document air loss in lbs per hour or minutes if it is leaking excessively.
Level low ability to raise coach equally and individual left/right adjustments.
Primary appearance of undercarriage looking for rust or signs of damage.
Driving to get feel for shift of transmission and engine response.
Observing temps and pressures while driving.
Operation of mirrors.
belts for cracking.
Exterior for corrision.
ac’s for air differential
These are main items to check to give Tim an idea of state of bus.

Call Clearwater Motorcoaches +17276148243.
Ask for Richard or Rick. They built the Coach. I will actually be there in about an hour to have them look at my front cruisair.
