Jon seems you had an injector replaced. How did you know there was a problem?

Could you notice any drive ability issues. Did they tell you what was wrong with the injector?

It was a short term intermittent issue and I could feel a difference at idle and some loss of power when getting underway, but after a few minutes it worked fine and likely did not occur again during the entire rest of the trip. At highway speeds I had no sense of an injector issue at constant speed.

Do you recall what the bad injector(s) were doing wrong?

The reader I have and the technician’s lap top agreed in that both said “slow response time”. I interpreted that to mean something was delaying the function of the solenoid operated injector, either a weakening solenoid or something in the moving portion of the injector was dragging.

The fault code was only triggered by the #1 injector, but with the reader it was seen #6 was showing a potential to trigger a code at some point. All others were OK.

I hope nobody is dwelling on this or losing any sleep. There are no other reports of injector issues I can recall in the hundreds of thousands of posts I have read.
