  • Indoor LED Accent Strips for Dummies

Posted by Jimmy on November 7, 2018 at 10:55 am

I searched the threads and lighting vendors suggested but can’t find exactly what I need to replace all the indoor accent strips that are running underneath my cabinets. I have round clear plastic tubing that lead to 2 wires at one end and looks like they were hot glued at the other end. I couldn’t see how the wires were connected after I tore one apart. And they looked like they were either hot glued or glue strips to keep them in place under the cabinets.

Any lights that do work have only sporadic lights showing. It used to look so cool.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

We have found that an easy fix for the rope lights around the windows is a tap or two with a kitchen spoon or spatula. Presto! Fixed every time. We haven’t had a problem with under-table lights … yet. Try it first.

At long last I have pics of how we ‘fix’ inoperative rope lights.
