Hard to find deals near Indio/Palm Springs/Desert during the winter season. We are currently in http://www.emeralddesert.com/ . Pretty nice, real grass, lots of trees, good internet, but tight for a 45′ coach plus some train noise. I had to make the dreaded 5-point turn to back into our spot without hitting cars, trucks, or trees. What is it with people watching you getting within inches of their truck without offering to move it?

We all probably get a black eye because of me. I am sure some curse all Prevost owners when idiots park in campgrounds where they don’t belong and then line up to see if I can get into or out of my site.

I make use of the four air horns on the roof to get folk’s attention to point out someone needs to move a car or fishing boat that blocks access or exit from my site.

When I do that I tell them my name is Tom.
