Idler pulley bearings
Do any of you fine folks have the part number for the belt tension pulley bearings. My old bearings are part # 30BGS1DS3 they are made by NACHI. Having a hard time find these on the net. Our local bearing house is not an option.

like we’ve told others here, you might consider installing the new and improved tensioner setup, DDC Kit# 23527060. DDC sells the kit for $1600, or better yet the following ebay seller gets $930 free shipping

Don I wonder if that Belt Tension kit would fit our 1994 Series 60. I might have to go that route It seems that a 27 mm wide bearing is hard to find. I just hate to spend another $10000 right now.

Is the number you are stating the actual number from the bearing, does seem to be a strange number, but then bearing are sometimes strange
with that number contact accurate bearing in Addison. Il. 1-630-543-2100. If Lynne Scott answers tell her I said hello otherwise anyone can help you, never had them fail me yet if have a good number or very accurate measurements.

Craig, Yes the kit will fit your 60 series, but you’ll also have to change your oil filler cover. When I changed ours, I found a used one on ebay, DDC pt# 23523134, for $60. Here’s a link for one for $100.
I believe the Nachi bearing # 30BGS1DS3 has dimensions of 30mm x 62mm x 27mm. Call any bearing company and give them this info and they can probably fix you up.

We’ve had a tough time finding those bearings, some have had to buy the complete pulley assembly. I don’t see anything wrong with the manual setup as long as you have a belt gauge to work with. The auto is better, but if funds are tight, keep using it.

An unbranded made in china bearing @ 19.95, versus at least a Nachi or other quality bearing, plus what are the other bearings in that kit for, add says for compressor.
In my experience a quality repair job is less money than a tow truck.

I’ve had success with Prevost Parts on these, free shipping.only thing impossible to find are the dust caps.
