Hi Bryan ,mine was done by American Coach and there aint nothing wrong with MCI coaches. Im not sure why more converters used them .I did charter work for a bit after I retired and got to drive different coaches and I loved both Prevost and MCI’s. Hated Van hools though. Did you say you were going to be in Utah this summer or that general area? We are heading out that way next month. gonna wander around and see all the places we only saw in the movies and tv. I didnt get much info with my coach so probably wont be much help to you and with all these neat freaks on here I aint showing anyone my engine compartment ! LOL The only thing that matters to me is that the boys at Jacksonville like the coach. (course that might be because I leave there broke ) lol

American made a nice coach and it is highly probable you can get any service on the conversion or any answers from the folks at Panterra. They might even have the records.

And Red…….”Neat Freaks”? Really? Being called names stresses me out so much I might just go out in the garage today to polish my slack adjusters and wax my engine.

Thanks Red. I love my MCI and it has been a great bus, but since this site is dedicated to all things Prevost I make sure to remain self-deprecating. There is no similar site for MCI owners because there are far fewer MCI conversions.

About Utah, I’ve been thinking about making a last minute trip next week, extending the Memorial Day weekend by a couple of days. If so, we will do Grand Canyon north rim, and probably Monument Valley, and maybe a stop in Bryce or Canyonlands NP. Still not sure if we will do any of it as I’m not sure I can clear my schedule, and reservations may be available for the holiday weekend. I will post a report if we make that trip.

Jon, you are right about Panterra. The folks there have been super helpful to me and my legacy coach. They did not have a lot of specific info on my bus, but they sent me what they had and they turned down my offer to pay for the time and effort to research it. They are really nice people.

Jon you are really starting to scare me now. Luckily we both know you will get roped into polishing ” you know who’s ” slack adjusters cause his head has gotten so big since his latest purchase that he cant fit under the coach.

I ain’t polishing his slack adjusters. He would sell the coach and get another one before I could finish the job.
