I want to be done with polishing my aluminum rims!
Im getting me some of these black powder coated rims 🙂
Does anyone know anything about this XLII at Premium Coach Group? The Gimp room downstairs is a little “odd”, but the rest of the coach looks well done. My thinking is it was done for a customer who wanted to remain anonymous (no graphics, etc.) yet wanted something unique. I really do like the blacked out rims. I look at mine even after polishing them and it drives me nuts how they look (but then 20 years of going round and round and I guess they can take a beating).

I saw a beautiful late-model Millennium in Florida this winter (with a maching staker) and the wheels were a really pretty grayish black. It looked like it was done as part of the conversion. You might talk to Nelson at Milleninium.

I guess the latest craze with black wheels is a matter of taste. I’m from the shiny wheel generation.

And the ad says it has single wheels on the drive axle. I wouldn’t like that.

The gimp room is a kids room. We wanted a bus that had one but the one that had it was still $$$ when we bought. This is only the 2nd bus I’ve seen with one. Makes me want to go look at it!Those wheels are awesome. For sure.

We were recently at Prevost Mira Loma and I saw two coaches with Black wheels (one was solid black, the other solid white, both where H’s). It’s not my particular taste but interesting.
I just looked up the ad, it says “Super Single 455 Drive Tire “. If you didn’t have a TPM system, you wouldn’t have to worry about inner tire so much.

I’m with Mark. I did see the H with with the stacker trailer at the last Everglades no rally rally. It looks different in person (IMO). Not my taste either.
