I’m getting ready to switch out my house batteries for 6 new Lifeline AGM’s (thank you, Tom) and I have a quick stupid question that I’m embarrassed to admit that I don’t know the answer to;
In the attached picture, there are red stripes on the battery terminals (all). Best guess is it’s red loctite. I can’t think of what else it could be.
Anyone confirm or deny?

Probably battery terminal cleaner from the last change out.

You better pray it’s not red Locktite. That stuff takes a lot of heat to get it off! It’s the wrong shade of red.
