But the upload button is gray. At least, using my iPad2.

How do I go about adding the avatar-photo?

    Thanks,

    Ron,

I do not have an i-pad so I cannot duplicate the problem. Perhaps some i-pad users can respond with their experience. I was unaware you could store a library of photos on the i-pad so that may be the problem.

But at any rate I will be in Heritage and if you want we can play on the web site together, me with my laptop and you with your i-pad and perhaps if no solution turns up prior to the rally, maybe we can figure something out. There are some other folks with questions (not necessarily related to this site) so I am sure we all can spend time together swapping lies, solving world issues, and having fun answering questions.

    Hi All!

This is my first post with my iPad 3rd generation! Seeing what works and what does not work.

    Loading pics works!

    Color works.

Can not upload pic as has been mentioned.

I have an ipad2 software version 5.1… I have had no issues using it on Prevost Community. I’m getting the new ipad shortly and we’ll see how that goes. So far so good!!

Forgot to mention my iPad 2 responds very quickly on here… Not at all sluggish. Software version 5.1. Lightning fast actually.

    Sent from my iPad 2

I have noticed that typing replies on the iPad is slow or “mechanical” at best. I have also had three replies not post after hitting the Post Reply button.

    Jdub,

What version software are you using?

I agree with JDub. I’m using 5.1 on everything.

I’m using 5.1. It’s like I type real fast but the letters appear slowly after I finish typing the words.

    Testing, 1-2-3.

Jon, using iPad 2 with IOS 5.1…. Appears to be working perfectly.

I suspect, however that posting a picture might be a different story. There is another forum that I frequent and none of the iPad users can post a picture.

Not sure how I’d go about posting a picture here….it looks more sophisticated than the other forum….are there instructions somewhere?

    Hope this helps.

    Jill,

All you have to do is click on the little picture frame at the top, beside the You Tube box, click upload and then pick out your picture from your computer and away you go. It will resize if it’s too big. Please give it a try from your I-pad.

    Thanks Tom,

Tried it and the upload button does not respond when I touch it…..same scenario as on the other forum I frequent.

I’m curious as to how Terry was able to post a picture on his iPad, and I don’t seem to be able to with ipad2.

    Terry…..you out there?

    Tom,

Just tried again using copy/paste, no luck…..in fact, after trying that at the beginning of the post and failing, I could not type any text…..curser stayed at top left position.
