Just did central FL to NW GA and return, light traffic, speed limit through ATL, rest areas open, campgrounds open, lots of fast food take out and gas in N GA 1.55.

That seems to be the norm for traffic Nationwide. We just finished a 4 day drive from the Atlanta area to Denver. LOTS of truck traffic! Thanks to all those truckers working so hard to get toilet paper back on the shelves! Rest areas were busy but always available. The campgrounds had all put no-contact check-ins procedures in place which was very nice. Nothing is truly no-contact but it certainly made the process as safe as possible.
In my opinion there are still way too many people ignoring the stay at home order as there are still an awful lot of cars on the street. Our business is open but the office doors are closed to customers. However, everyday folks show up to pay when they could have stayed at home and phoned in a payment. They get mad that we can’t open due to the city’s orders. One guy stood outside the office and called in the CC information. He could have just stayed at home!

Self Storage. Manage properties for a small chain spread around the US. Wife and I work together and full time in our RV. We are parked on site at the various sites we manage.

Are you able to overnight in rest areas when doing long trips?
