The cross member and the baffle between the engine / transmission and the differential took the brunt of the damage and if I were to post photos of the underside now nobody would know that they were previously damaged.

The boards under the drive were vital. The tow truck operator wanted just the ones under the tag and did not understand until Jeff and I described how the drive is carrying the weight that he agreed not to proceed until they were in place.

I am now uncomfortable with the process of tire inspection. Two places recommended and that I visited did not impress me with possessing the skills to assess potential damage. The tag and drives may be OK, but I don’t trust them until I know for sure the belts in the sidewalls which were heavily stressed are OK and unbroken. Michelin will only get their experts involved if it is a warranty issue and to be honest I don’t want to wait for a tire failure to determine if they were damaged during recovery.

Jimmy, if you don’t think this is a topic for ball busting you haven’t been reading posts or attending rallies. This is a tough crowd and nobody gets any slack. I don’t know where the line is between my faux pas and Dan’s “oh shit” but there is one and nobody should ever find that humorous, but to see my bus on a hook is likely to keep us all laughing for a while. The good news is there was no injuries except to my pride.

Thanks for the pics as I couldn’t see from the drivers seat….as the wrecker got the coach to start going on the blocks I was able to let the coach very gently go backward under her own steam….I’m not sure as I said I wasn’t outside however the inside drive almost looks like it was loaded pretty good going over the curb and the curb for a minute could of been in between inner and outer tires….

for further explanation of the radius of the turn vs curb the diff was almost centered on the curb….
