Well, replaced the tank bladder and making pressure. Now the ram is leaking where the line block is attached to the ram cylinder.

Anyone selling a good ram??

Rams and attached parts are rebuildable at pneumatic / fluid power service centers.

Yes the bladder worked fine, thank you Russ. I sent my ram to Lake Tool last year for a rebuild. They did rebuild it for me but did tell me they were suspicious of some old repair that was done to the ram. They asked me to test it to see if it holds pressure and if not to send it back to them for further repair. I have the ram removed from the bus again and sending it back to Lake Tool tomorrow. I’ll let you know how it all works out. Thanks again for your help.

curious as to how the system performs for you as I have one installed but not working. Not sure I want to spend the time to get it going given the mixed reviews.

I have the system in my coach, and I believe it is fully functional. I have turned it on a few times to try it out. You can tell the difference in how the coach steers. I would not characterize the steering as “better,” but it is different.

Since I do not use the system, I probably will remove it at some point. I just spent $10K at Prevost having my front end rebuilt, and that resulted in my coach steering “better.”

I had my cylinder rebuild by a hydraulic shop here is the local area by someone that has been in the business for 40 years (family business). He did a great job some of the seals may need to be replaced with updated materials because you probably won’t be able to find exact match compositions. But any good hydraulic shop should be able to get you back in business with that leaking cylinder. After getting it back together and setting the center mine works perfectly with no leaks. I love it.
