Hi Andy, Yes I personally believe that technology and a Prevost Bus can coexist in the same space. But please know that I have an 8 x 10 glossy of a Motorola Flip Phone hanging next to the sensor.

I never thought about placing a photo of a Flip Phone near the sensor. Instead I have a photo of our First Lady near the Crestron!

Andy, What a terrific picture of one of the most beautiful ladies! I’d love to know the back story of that picture and what a lovely message she penned. I’ve always been so impressed by her, what a picture Andy. I’m not easily impressed but I’m sure impressed with that!

    WoW,

Sheesh, now we’re not even gong to be able to hang with the Guru, he’s moved up many levels. She is no doubt the First Lady, fantastic photo, Andy.

Now Tom, when you say something like “Sheesh, now we’re not even gong to be able to hang with the Guru, he’s moved up many levels.” that’s almost like saying Andy’s too high up and unapproachable.

I’m here to tell you that Andy and I are close personal friends. Just the other day I called him on his cell phone and Lucy answered with a message I’d hear from his people! Andy has peeps!

The Adventures of Lucy could make for an interesting topic for Harry’s next book!

PS. Hey Andy, is your new barn air conditioned? If not do you put a dehumidifier in your Marathon or Flexible?

Hey Andy, is your new barn air conditioned? If not do you put a dehumidifier in your Marathon or Flexible?

Much to my dismay, it’s not air conditioned, but it’s new concrete construction and staying on topic of this thread, it’s fairly well insulated. The space has dedicated 50 amp, 30 amp service and a standard outlet and I keep the coach powered up. Marathon added a quick disconnect to one of the A/C drain’s and I run a garden hose under the door. This allows me to run one of the units without creating a puddle of condensation indoors. I can monitor the coach via the Crestron app and among other things, can adjust the thermostat if needed. I also keep a fan running in the coach. Here’s a small oscillating fan that works well in a bus: http://amzn.to/2FI8FF2

So Andy, When you say “I also keep a fan running in the coach. Here’s a small oscillating fan that works well in a bus:. Would it be safe to say it’s one of your many fans!

    Harry:

Has the operator of the campground/park where you coach is informed you and the other five RV owners what happened to the shore power? I would push the facility owner to determine what happened.

I’d like like to know (1) what is the size of the circuit/panel breaker that my 50amp shore power service is on and (2) how many other individual services are on the same circuit/panel breaker and the size of those services.

When the 50amp shore power went dead, does your coach automatically flip over to the house batteries? When the batteries got low, does the generator automatically fire up, charge the batteries, and then shut down? If so … did all this happen? Or do you have the manage the electricity manually?

Well Dick of the Barbary Coast how are you sir? Always a pleasure to hear from one who knows where they are.

So many question with so few answeres, although I do have same.

RE: Has the operator of the campground/park where you coach is informed you and the other five RV owners what happened to the shore power?

The entire park has the electrical wires underground running to each of the power posts. On my site and three others the electrician (no one knows why) looped the power to the posts. Once there were three RV’s on those sites the 50 amp power dropped off.

RE: I’d like like to know (1) what is the size of the circuit/panel breaker that my 50amp shore power service is on and (2) how many other individual services are on the same circuit/panel breaker and the size of those services.

    I don’t have the answerer’s to that.

The AC on the pole was still hot so this wasn’t an issue because of the handy-dandy trickle charger Jeff installed on my bus. It’s $3000 worth of charger I might add. Hey Jeff you’re a pirate, I should have known with that patch over your left eye. Hey, sometimes it was on your right, what’s that about? Arr!

As for other automatic fire up flippers you asked about there are none. Unless you consider the crank start just above the front bumper. Hey I wonder if the guy who did that knew the engines in back?

You keep up the questions Dick because I have the answer’s just like Arby’s Has The Meats!
