How could it be??? Aux Air HOLDING VERY WELL
I guess the answer would be: Enjoy it while it lasts
Currently enjoying cool temps & beautiful weather at 7,100 feet of elevation in Pagosa Springs, CO and cannot figure out why my aux air is holding so well. I know…a terrible problem to have. Ha
I did spend a lot of time searching for and repairing aux air leaks prior to this trip and the best average cycling time for my aux air compressor at home near Houston was close to five hours. Here in the mountains, it lasts more than 18 (yes, eighteen) hours! How could it be??? And, yes, I am certain it is holding that long as after suspecting it was the case, I would fill my the aux tank in the early morning, then shut off its breaker so I would be certain it was not re-filling.
At home, my primary and secondary tanks were last holding about 4 weeks, but here in the overnight cold temps, they went down to zero the first night.
More good news, my “leans” repairs have held perfectly. Next park will be at 9,000 feet and am interested in seeing what happens there. Thoughts?
