Hotel Rooms Versus Prevost
When we bought our first coach in 1990 we were always viewed as lacking common sense.
The theme expressed by a lot of people was “Do you know how many nights you could stay in the best hotels in the world for what it costs to buy and run your Prevost?”
Golly gee, I didn’t know. Never ran the figures. So 22 years later we still aren’t giving much thought to the question or statements like that from people who don’t get it. I know from experience the people buying and driving conversions as we do are pretty smart and very capable. Yet we are viewed by others are less than smart for enjoying our coaches.
I can and do tell folks there is something special about sleeping in my own bed when we travel, having my own coffee in the morning on my schedule, and not sharing a toilet seat with 10,000 people. We like the ability to move to a new neighborhood any time we don’t like the neighbors. We like the comfort of the coach. We would never have made as many friends as we have all over the country if we chose to travel by car or plane.
So what does the price of a hotel room have to do with owning a coach??????
