  • Hitch Receiver Bolts

Posted by Archived on August 24, 2020 at 12:57 pm

I found a loose bolt that supports the hitch receiver. It may be an isolated issue and never seen on any other coach or it might be a problem other coaches could have.

I changed my engine to gear box belts and when doing so I noticed one of the two bolts under the engine pulley was loose. The other was tight. A 15/16″ socket on the bolt head, and a 15/16″ open end wrench on the nut was all it took to retighten the bold.

It took all of about 30 seconds to tighten the bolt and I feel good knowing my toad is now unlikely to be taking a ride through the weeds on the side of the highway.

    Tom probably did it.

He’s getting you back for the time we poured antifreeze under his coach.

There it is. A public admission my share of dues money is being spent.
