  • High Pressure Alarm On PressurePro Pulse

Posted by Archived on February 7, 2020 at 8:55 pm

    All,

The air pressure on the steering axle is 110 PSI. I received a high pressure alarm on the Pressure Pro pulse at 119 PSI. Any recommendations on a new setting that I can program into this system? 175 PSI? Thank you in advance for any and all recommendations.

IF you run 110, 10% over would be 121, which may be enough. I would set it for 130. which is slightly less than 20%. The reason being is the “sun” side will get hotter, thus more pressure than the shade side while driving.

    Your mileage may vary, chuckle.

What Mikee said. I had similar issues and had to change some settings.

As an example if you are running from north to south and prior to leaving your tire pressures were set, just the change in outside temperature is going to increase tire pressure. When you add in the pressure increase that is normal from driving it is easy to exceed the high pressure settings.

130 is a good number as Mikee suggested. It comes programmed from the factory at 25%. If you get into cold weather, you may have to reset that as well.

    Mikee, Jon, and Tom,

Thank all of you for the suggestions. I reset the high PSI warning to 45%.
