I was only able to purchase 3 fans as they were surplus and the seller sold all of them,they work great and really cool much better.

Joe,Behind the cruise air electrical cover you can connect the fan to the bottom 2 terminals which are the 110 volt supply.The fans will then run all the time and will only turn off when you turn off the breaker to the unit.

Thanks for the advice. I pulled the panel; but I would really appreciate additional clarification before I make a mistake.

I attached a few photos:

1. Would you please confirm that I pull the 2 wires from the SSR and connect them to the bottom (photo) in order to keep the fan running whenever the unit is powered from the breaker switch in the coach?

2. Quick follow up, if a fan is not running, can I jump the relay in order to bench test the relay? I read the crydom instructions…but I’m not an EE; and this stuff is tricky for a n00b such as myself.

This is to check if the fan will run before remove the unit; and determine if the problem is with the relay; and not the motor.

bob,I will check a fan motor and verify the colors of the wires,I will be home tomorrow,you can check with a volt meter and the 110 volt should be at the terminals in your picture that are shown as 1 and 2,that would be the terminals to connect to.Once you connect the terminals the fan will run continuously and can only be turned off with the breaker.

I thought that the modification was done by programing the fan with the SMX?

Bob,I did check 2 spare motors and one of them had 2 black wires and the other one had 1 black and 1 purple wires on it for the 110 volt fan motor.
