Help with ordering 1/4 tube compression fittings
I posted this earlier as a reply to an old string, have not seen much response so reposting as new item, did not know how or if could move it.
Happy New Year to all. I have been working under the bus intermittently the last few weeks, changing all sway bar and shock bushings, all brake chambers, front upper control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joint boots, and more. When get a chance will post some of the more interesting aspects of those adventures and some pit falls to avoid should you too decide to venture where monsters lie.
While it is still up on the stands and wheels off I would like to replace some of the push in airline fittings at the Norgrens and elsewhere. To that end I would like to order some bulk box(es) of the DOT brass fittings I will need. Good idea, but I am Fredericksburg, TX for the holiday and the bus is in Oklahoma.

Can someone please advise the fitting sizes and about how many I will need?
From what I recall from looking around under the bus most are 1/4 tube to 1/4 npt male straight fittings. I think there may some right angle ones in there. And am I right on the male pipe thread size at 1/4 inch? I don’t recall that any I noticed are 1/8 pipe, but with my trifocal vision maybe some or all of them were 1/8, especially since at the time I looked at them I was not thinking on the lines of ordering a replacement part. I think the tubing ends are all 1/4 except for the parking brake lines which were 1/2″ tube by 3/8 pipe?
Here is one prospect 1/4 tube x 1/4 pipe male on Amazon as a starting point, still searching for some bulk 50 piece or 100 piece deal.
Also to further stir things up, I put Equal (no longer available by the way – has been replaced by Equal FLEXX) in all the tires. Will advise how that works out when get it back together and on the road. Had almost bought 6 Balance Masters, but could not make myself spring for the one time high cost. Put it in through the valve stems using a tool the Equal folks used to sell for about $500. Available now on ebay for $20. Bought two of them. Those of you handy with this kind of thing will probably want a couple of your own. Lots of neat parts in it, two quality 1/4″ ball valves, pressure regulator and guage, Air filtration/dryer device, hose with quick connect tire chuck, etc. With some adaptation could be used for for moving small amounts of lubricants uphill to a small opening, filter and maybe dry air used to fill tires, cannibalized for parts or whatever. There were two sellers, one sells for $20 plus $20 shipping, the other for $35 including shipping. I contacted the second guy, he has over 3000 of them. Just search ebay for “Equal applicator”. I know the Equal folks say it won’t work for the new Equal FLEXX. Not sure about some of the other tire balance media. The out feed hole is pretty small. I ordered some Counteract to see if it would work. Will advise when it gets here.

David, While Prevost air fittings can be counted by looking at the coach or maybe even the coach pneumatic diagrams (which are superb at showing detail) there are likely a substantial number of fittings used by the converter so my guess is the number, size and type of fittings is likely coach specific. What my be the correct answer with respect to my coach might be completely wrong for yours.
