help please Entry door lock
we are on the road and the entry door lock (key) lock has quit working . I had to get the ladder out and putt mama thru the window . that’ another story for another day . I took the door apart and the lock assembly is in pieces
the key tumblers work ok it’ just the lock mechanism.
is that a part that could be ordered from prevost? or marathon? or does one have make something?
we will be in phx tomorrow’ for a few weeks hopefully we can get something there

I replaced the actual door handle/locking mechanism earlier this year. The most difficult part was taking all the stuff Marathon puts on the door to gain access to the locking mechanism. Just have to remember how to put it all back together 🙂

folks I could use some help here . the entry door dead bolt fell apart.. the tumblers are alright .it’s the deadbolt part that fell apart . i called prevost and the part has been discontinued. I have call 3 locks Smith’s today and l finally have one coming tomorrow . . has anyone sourced a new deadbolt? looking for plan b encase the locksmith can’ t repair mine

did you call Jeff? I’d ask him if he has one. If he does not, call Chuck at Commonwealth Coach and ask for him to pull one off one of the bus his is stripping.
I would request a FedEx or UPS overnight to your location.

the locksmith was able to repair my lock ! it was a guide pin the deadbolt rides on and also holds the thing together . I was also able to source a used lock mechanism

I can t get entry door adjusted so my wife can open easily have pulled panel and lubes adjust catches on door post opens easy from inside
